Wrong and blind
From the reasons behind the behavior of others, to how our industry works, to how the future will pan out, we make assumptions all the time.
And quite often, we’re not only wrong, we’re blind.
That’s because, often, we don’t look for definitive answers. We don’t test our hypotheses, and many times we don’t even recognize them as such.
Instead, we walk around assuming we're right until (much later) we discover we’re not. Until the world proves us wrong.
What would happen if you tested your predictions from the start instead?
If you embraced that an assumption is a starting point for further exploration?
Asking ourselves, how do I know I’m right? And how often?
