Wine costs more than water

Which is why if you go to a nice restaurant they'll tend to push the former, and ice over the latter.

On the other hand, while most won't tip well merely for great wine, no one tips generously for unreplenshed water. A rookie mistake, for sure.

Better to sell the wine (not push) and never have them think twice about the water.
