What makes it better?
It’s easy to confuse the metrics we’re using to describe better with better.
That faster or firmer or brighter or sleeker or stronger is inherently better than what it replaces.
But of course, the only thing that is really better is what’s better subjectively, based on your values.
Maybe you don’t need a faster horse, just one that meets your specs.
Maybe you don’t need a horse at all.
