Tune out the critics

There’s no shortage of people who will openly tell you your idea ‘has been done before’ or ‘is repulsive, bland or stale.’ Or worse, that you’re somehow not up to the task.

Don’t listen. They will always be around. In the comments and in the office and in the back of your mind. Trolls.

Great mentors (and friends) don’t shoot down bad ideas. They nurture them until they are good ideas.
