Too wordy, lacks interest
Copy can be too verbose (as in having too many words), blatantly boring (as in not being interesting enough to keep the reader hooked), or sound unprofessional (as in not being clear, cogent or concise).
But as an editor or critic, it helps to communicate that if you…
a) Actually know what you’re talking about. b) Can provide examples to prove your point.
Sorry, but saying it’s (insert your adjective here) isn’t a compelling enough argument to defend your point of view.
“I’ll know it when I see it” is not the same as saying “I see it, can you?”
