The thing about having a platform

…is that it’s a privilege to have one.

If you abuse the podium, the medium, or the people who make it, they’re not going to give you their attention for long.

When the times change, when your edict’s ended, when your resources and connections dry up, you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone who will listen, or care. And you'll find it just as hard for anyone to know your side of things when they won't.

It's hard to make a movie when no producer will work with you.
