The more Google knows
Here’s a common outlook shared by SEO’s:
All things being equal, the site that feeds Google with the most signals about what it is you do is going to come out ahead.
That’s why it’s easy to rationalize overpriced backlinks. Or ridiculous optimizations that take hours of work. Or more creative assets.
Because the more Google knows, the better.
Of course, doing something comes at a cost—the cost of not doing something else.
There are countless ways to promote your business and increase your sales. Doing what’s easy to measure or certain to work doesn’t make it the most effective.
