Soliciting feedback
I've been taking online classes for the past 15 months.
Something I noticed is that best instructors are often those who are who transfixed on their craft.
Many of them ask for feedback, either in person or by sharing a simple online form after class. They’ll ask about how well they did, if the class activities helped, and what could be better.
This is a great way to show that you’re not perfect and that you want to improve—which can certainly improve your relationships with your students.
But by allowing them to share their thoughts and feelings in an anonymous way, it’s an even better way to make the learning experience better for everyone.
Asking for feedback is simple to do and high on return. Yet too few people do it.
