Skeleton crews

They certainly seem like a good idea.

Cutting staff. Staying lean. Less people and more profit.

But it’s not without it’s failings.

Because when you flip a switch and everything's on—full load—then you're in trouble.

Better to cut your people some slack—both in time and hands—instead.
