Remember where you're going
Tim Ferriss asks each of the guests on his podcast what they’d put on a billboard aside a (presumably congested) highway.
I think I’d write, “Remember where you’re going.”
Because between all that reckless speeding, unwarranted maneuvering, complaining (about traffic), and benchmarking (based on the car you’re in and how fast you’re going), the purpose of driving is to go somewhere.
More often than not, that somewhere is happiness.
And happiness, it turns out, is best experienced now.
There's no sense worrying about getting there faster (or in style) if you’ve already arrived.
