Relative importance
Many people argue that spending billions of dollars to go to space is a waste. Others reflect on how our time on this planet is limited—a blip in space-time—and that anything we could possibly do down here is pointless.
Likewise, while others believe that how they spend their time while they’re alive counts for how they’ll spend their time when they aren’t, others discredit the idea the experiencing anything beyond right here, right now is superfluous.
And that bargain you saw online the other day? While you might think it’s a great value, not everyone does. In fact, many might think it’s trash.
Point is, we value what we value. And value is always in the eye of the beholder.
Better to sell to those who share a mutual value than spend any time at all coaxing those who won’t.
