Rebuffing rejection

If someone turns out down for a job or a date

…it might be a sign they weren’t smart enough to choose you.

If someone fires you for ‘performance reasons’

…it may be less a sign of their high expectations, and more a sign they’re simply a terrible boss.

And if you don’t make the cut, the team, or the board?

Well, it may be a sign they’re not right for you, as much as you not being right for them.

Point is, rejection hurts for as long as you will it to.

But, often, it’s for the best.
