Questioning sufficiency
How much phone do you need?
Because it’s likely that you don’t need 8 gigs of ram or 256 gb of space any more than you need to spend a thousand dollars or half that on a phone.
How much car is required?
Because getting from point A to point B isn’t the same as getting there in style (or on a full tank of gas).
How much house is needed?
Because being able to afford the ‘finer things in life’ is probably more satisfying (and important) than a few hundred or thousand more square feet.
How much media is urgent?
Because more than enough isn’t the same as enough to get by.
How much education is necessary?
Because bankrupting yourself on a 4 year degree isn’t always the ‘only best option’ to getting an education or building an asset.
How much impact is worth it?
Because catering to the smallest viable audience is often just as if not more risky/meaningful/significant as mass production.
Asking yourself ‘how much is enough?’ is a reliable way to save for more of what’s essential and spend less (time, money and attention) on what isn’t.
