Price and value
There's very little correlation between price and value.
Consider the overpriced and underwhelming surf and turf meal at your local seafood shack. It might cost as much as $40, but there's no guarantee it will leave you as satisfied as a 3 egg omelet that costs half as much.
Or consider, of all things, software. I've likely gotten more value out of my free Airtable membership than every app I've ever paid for combined.
And, don't even get me started on headphones. Beats by Dre have nothing on Grados, despite being roughly the same in price. Meanwhile, Apple's Airpods are only marginally better than the $30 pair of in-ear headphones you might find on Amazon.
My point isn't necessarily to be frugal for the sake of frugality, but to simply acknowledge that often, value doesn't often go up merely with an increase in price.
