Prep is the first step
Many chefs won't hesitate to talk (at length) about the benefits of mis en place, the idea that having your ingredients and tools readily available makes cooking significantly easier.
Similarly, meal prep (as opposed to eating what's ever available) makes it far easier to stick to your diet.
And it turns out that the best approach to teaching yourself to wake up earlier is to simply set (and stick to) a bedtime.
Point is, prep work makes the process work. No prep work, and the process suffers.
Many times our problems aren't a result of bad processes or people. Many times, it's simply a lack of sufficient preparation.
