Not broken, simply unfinished

It’s amazing how much you can change your perspective by changing the narrative. Turning a phrase. Playing with words.

“I’m no good at this” is a handicap. “I’m no good at this yet” is an opportunity.

“I didn’t make the team” is immutable. “I haven’t made the team, so far” is alterable.

Not everything is final. Discerning between what is and what isn’t is a form of realism that can literally change everything.

Enabling possibility. Not discouraging it.
