No choice but to learn
One of the joys of regularly publishing a blog is that you’re forced to learn and think and notice things everyday.
Which tends to be a sharp contrast to the monotony of daily life.
Good thing too, because if you're not careful, you could spend your whole year not getting any smarter.
The converse is also true: if your intellectual bandwidth is at the same frequency it's always been, for years, it might be a sign you're actually getting dumber.
(Better to simply not give yourself the choice.)
