More plastic, more movement
Philippe Bihouix says that “there is no product or service more ecological, sustainable and recyclable as the one we do not use.”
He’s right.
That’s why I’m often dismayed to find products that intelligent people make, market, and ship that, frankly, we don’t need.
In fact, with all the hustle and bustle it takes to make a thing and ship it to your door, I’m sure there are many “sustainable goods” that contribute to just as much net waste and energy as the things we’re presumably mean’t to ignore.
Walking is the only means of sustainable travel. And deciding that you don't have a problem that something aims to solve is the most sustainable practice of all.
