Mismatched
Often, whenever we're confused or frustrated with the world, it's often because there's a mismatch between how we think the world is and how it actually is.
And, as you might expect, we're faced with a binary choice: to embrace bewilderment, aghast at how selfish or stupid others can be.
Or to ask "why?" Why do other people feel the way they do, believe what they do, or behave in ways we don't expect?
Curiosity is a choice. So is cluelessness.
