Minimum viable competence
You don’t need to memorize everything in your owner’s manual to successfully drive your car.
Pilots don't have to know everything about aeronautical engineering to land a plane.
And the guy who wrote the copy for the last ad you saw most likely doesn't know a thing about that particular brand's pricing strategy.
You don't have to know or do everything. Just a few things. Exceptionally well.
Figure out what those things are, and it’ll be significantly easier to do just that.
Find out the minimum you need to know to be fluent. To speak the language. To drive a car. To run a 240 second mile. Break it down into small steps. Practice until mastery.
I can't think of a more straightforward route to proficiency.
