I have no problem with tiers of service, when they actually count.
Clearly there’s a difference between a Model S 70 and P85D. Or a Pro Max and the standard model. Or even a supreme ‘as big as yo face’ burrito and something that’s only a third the size.
But com’on, if it’s only a matter of subtle, surface level difference (a bad attempt at increasing your profit margin), please stop playing the status game.
It can’t last forever once everyone knows it’s a fraud. And if it is, how can people trust you enough to do business with you next time?
Better to offer one (exceptional) service (at a fair price), than to offer many tiers of the same underlying service and execute it poorly.
