Love is patient, love is pure

Actually, that’s not entirely true.

Most love is biased, based on your relationship together. What they do and don’t do. Who they are, their values, and how they make us feel.

That's why you "love" the person you're with, and don't feel the same way about other people. 

Unbiased love, in contrast, is exactly that.

Choosing to look people in the eye. To give them the dignity they deserve.

Not based on what taxonomy or tribe they belong to. Not based on what side they are on. But because their human.

Because there is no “us” vs. “them.” Only us.

The sooner we embrace that fact the sooner we can begin to move forward as a culture.
