Ivory friday
This post is a week late, but it applies just as well to the season as a whole.
What would happen if instead of spending your (black) friday buying gifts for people who don’t need them, you spent it donating what you have to those who have less?
You could make it an annual sport to round up the things you don’t use or need, and to drop it off at your local charity.
Because, maybe shopping isn’t the most important thing you can do this holiday.
It might simply be appreciating the surplus you have and making due with less.
