Have a perfect day
Try this: open a new document in your text-editor of choice, and write down, in clearest detail, your version of the perfect day.
It doesn’t have to be grandiose. It could just be a morning talking to friends, and an afternoon spent spreading joy.
Point is, once you have it—once you know what your perfect day looks like and feels like and tastes like—you’ll be in much better position to live it.
To do the things that bring you joy. (Not money, not status…but joy…things of little fiscal value that make you uniquely happy).
After all, if all you have to do to have a happy life is live enough days that feel like your perfect one, well, you’ve just discovered the secret to renewable happiness.
