Haters gonna hate

Take any video on Youtube.

Look at the likes vs. dislikes.

Notice anything?

Every video has downvotes. Even the best ones.

And while most dislikes are only ever .0025 times the number of upvotes, all videos have them.

It’s a simple and powerful message: Not everyone is going to laugh at your joke, enjoy your performance, or like what you have to say.

That’s okay if you let it. (But it can be a burden if you don’t.)

Alas. The sooner you can get over the fact that it’s not for everyone, the quicker you can get back to doing and making things for the people who need it most.
