Google sign-in has a new look
Ostensibly it’s cleaner, with columns. A more “modern” design.
Except that it’s not.
Because it doesn’t make us more productive or efficient.
If anything, it slows me down, because now I have to think for a second longer about where and what to click on.
Modern isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s about adding value.
Change for the sake of change is just change. Not better.
