Getting Goldilocks right
People tend to get the moral of the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears all wrong.
Many assume the story is about discovering what’s “just right.” Not too much, not too little…but just enough.
Others assume it’s a fable about the risks of wandering off and exploring the unknown, and the upside of staying ‘safe’ at home and ’sheltered’ from what’s outside.
I think it’s simpler than that.
Goldilocks is a story about how there much better things to do with your curiosity than breaking into your neighbors home to discover what they eat and where they sleep.
Curiosity can be your superpower if you let it.
