This video has been making waves on the internet lately. And it certainly would be amazing if it wasn’t a fake.

Of course, what’s interesting isn’t how gullible it’s made us all appear to be. But the fact that a single individual was able to make something so believable in the first place.

We’re soon entering a world where visual effects and deepfakes are beginning to look as if they’re entirely real, which begs the question: what’s next?

When the world we see on screen looks exactly as reality appears, refusing to take anything for granted is the only way to spot the difference.
