Do it now
Things that are urgent are rarely urgent all the time.
The fire alarm only goes off when there’s a fire in the oven.
And the deadline to do your taxes only arrives once a year.
Point is, many of the things that may become urgent are often worth addressing before they are.
Because, of course, there’s very little upside in waiting. And there’s almost no downside in doing it now.
On the other hand, stalling until something becomes urgent carries the risk that it might not all work out.
