Can you articulate that?
It occurred to me the other day that how readily someone is able to articulate something is really the mark of a good communicator (and thus teacher and arguably leader).
Taking a concept from an idea in your head to words that people can understand, and saying it in a way that makes sense for others. That’s a skill worth investing in.
And it’s not only good for your recipient either. Because making things clear for you is a precondition for making things clear for them.
It forces you to get your thinking clean and orderly and more cogent. Making it easier for you to both express your thoughts, but also think them.
Being coherent is a gift. As much for you as for those you communicate with.
