Back to business basics
It’s easy to convince yourself you need a logo or an org chart or an about page with a dozen bios because that’s what a business is.
But those are just proxies—things people do to convince themselves and others that they have a fully functioning and thriving enterprise.
They’re substitutes for meaningful metrics that actually reflect how well you’re doing.
Because what a business is merely a group of people who perform a service. Or who sell a thing that other people graciously buy.
It helps to focus on the basics before you embrace the embelleshments.
Or even to go without the extras entirely and to let your work and word of mouth speak for itself.
