As can be expected

I used to be amazed that with as smart and sophisticated as our federal government appears to be, they never seem to agree on anything (and therefore get anything done).

Fast-forward to the tail end of 2020, and that feeling has been replaced.

Now I realize the joke’s on us. Because as obstinate as our government is, somehow it manages to get things done.

And the arguing, the bureaucracy, the layers upon layers of regulation and recalcitrance? That’s all that can be expected.
