Artificial constraints
If you set up systems so that it's hard to do things that are bad for you, and easy to do things that are good for you, your behavior will adjust to accommodate your design.
That's why rearranging the apps on the home screen of your phone can make you more productive, while muting and blocking unnecessary notifications (where appropriate) can do wonders for your peace of mind.
It seems odd at first to be intentional about making things less easy, until you realize that by enforcing made-up limitations and constraints, you can design your life so that the things that are important actually get done.
