Actions > Feelings
Feelings are rarely a good indicator of what we really, truly want.
Sometimes they’re helpful. Like when we fall in love. Or when we’re buoyed by excitement. But not always.
Instead, they’re often a bad incidator of the actions we’d like to take (or should take.)
Because feelings are fleeting. And, because, more often than not, they’re easily inspired by habits and patterns and people, that don’t serve a version of you that you’d like to become.
It pays to acknowledge that feelings, while tangible, are easily swayed. Both by your circumstances, and the actions you take.
And that choosing to confront feelings with language and motion is often the best route up and out of a rut, and on toward a place where you’d rather be.
