A successful meal
People who manage to stay healthy for the long term don’t do it overnight.
They do it by having one nutritious, delicious, and satiating meal (typically with real foods and low carbs), over and over again, for the long haul.
We don’t often think about success on the micro level. Because any one thing—a day, a meal, a habit—often feels so small, it’s inconsequential.
Except when you realize that success of all kinds isn’t made up in one fell swoop. That success is the result of a practice, a commitment, a rule that you set and follow for yourself, for a very long time.
The discipline to prepare for and to have a successful meal—over and over again—and to do it with intent, each time, is what success is mostly made of.
