60 characters or fewer
Here’s a fun challenge for the smart business professional (or savvy wordsmith):
Make a list of your current service offerings and write a paragraph or two about each of them.
Shorten it to a few sentences. Then two. Then one.
Take your sentence and cut it in half. Edit it and revise it and change the words until you get it down to 60 characters or fewer.
Tough? You bet it is.
But it is a great way to articulate what you actually do.
To work around the temptation to complicate things and use obtuse language to articulate your point. To write clearly. Free of drivel.
To get to the essence of the matter, say it in less.
